The Warrior...

So we bought a house...a house on wheels...ok...it's a toy hauler. In preparation for King of the Hammers in February, Dustin and I bought a Weekend Warrior 5th Wheel Toy Hauler ( I know that's a lot to spend for 1 trip a year, but this will lead to many, many other trips we can do a year). It is a travel trailer that we can put the Yota (our 1983 Toyota Tacoma, named The Midge) in. She is a beautiful traveling home away from home. We got an amazing deal on a fully loaded toy hauler that we couldn't pass it up. And neither could 5 other people...

We went to looked at The Warrior on Sunday and by Monday the owner was calling us asking us if we had gotten financing yet. It had only been a little over 24 hour since we had seen The Warrior, Banks were closed on Sunday and we worked all day on Monday. He said he had gotten 5 calls about people wanting to buy her and wanted to make sure we were serious about buying. We told him we were dead serious and that we needed a little more time to be able to get the loan secure. By Tuesday night we were pre-approved. She was ours. We had the check in hand by Wednesday but can't go get her until Saturday, due to work schedules. So by the time I get home from work on Saturday our new home away from home will be sitting on front of our house...I can not wait go camping in this beauty (well I guess it's Trailering)...

Update 5/31/11 - We no longer have The Midge. Dustin ended up trading he for a full size Chevy which he is going to be building up as a rock crawler. We are also looking for anyone who would be interested in buying The Warrior. Since buying The House, we feel we could use that money from The Warrior on The House. So please conact Dustin or I if interested.
